Barbara Grissom

Barbara is the proud founder and owner of Babe's Holistic Hair Salon at 3117 N. North Broad Street in Philadelphia. Barbara's passion for improving the quality of life through beauty led her to open her doors in 1992, and since then Babe’s has been a pinnacle of the North Broad- Philadelphia community. When Barbara isn’t beautifying her clients, she serves in numerous capacities within the cosmetology community. Previously, she was a Pennsylvania State Board Examiner, member of The Advisory Board for Cosmetology for the School District of Philadelphia, and a cosmetology teacher for the Berean Institute of Philadelphia. Currently, she is a member of the American Hair Loss Council, a member of the Pennsylvania Professional Image Alliance (PPIA), and is a licensed cosmetology instructor. Barbara’s commitment to her clients has also led her to get certified in trichology and incorporate it as a service offering within her business.
